On Face the Nation just now, the moderator was right on target when she pointed out to Senator Warner that he was one of only 17 Democratic Senators to vote against an assault weapons ban in 2013, and also that he voted against limiting the size of ammunition magazines. I confronted him directly on this issue at a Democratic picnic in Reston, VA soon after Sandy Hook, and he said "it would be too inconvenient for gun manufacturers to limit the size of ammunition magazines." He then panicked and, in his own Macaca moment, said “no one is videoing this, are they?” Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t, but in any case I have many witnesses. PLEASE DELUGE SENATOR WARNER'S OFFICE STARTING TOMORROW TO DEMAND THAT HE CHANGE AND THAT HE FULLY ADVOCATES THE LIMITATION. In response, all he said was, yes, it's time to take another close look at that. Sorry....that is not what millions of our young people were marching for yesterday. And it's not what you and I want either.
